~Beauty~ the new em Michelle Phan cosmetics

I did purchase the limited time deal for an waterliner eyeliner and lipstick that comes with free life palette sample (3 eye shadows, 1 lip gloss).  In addition, since I'm about to leave for a 2 weeks vacation (yey!) I decided to also get the beach life palette (althogh it was quite pricey) so I can try it during the trip. Hopefully, I will get wifi in France to keep this blog start updating again. @_@

If you are also an Ipsy subscriber, dont forget you can keep the sample life palette pop out and keep in the small magnetic box instead. (the ones on the left are the shadows I got from the Glambag (now Ipsy) before. Those popped out eye shadow do have sticky glue on the back, and since I run out of the space, I stick it on the mirror instead. (well, it worked...)

I already tried on the creamy color sheer lipstick, and it looks gorgeous! The pinkish strawberry color just looks really great with my skin (medium honey). I cant wait to try the rest on Tuesday. ( I'm usually as crappy as I can on the wkend at home...plus Monday is a holiday...)

Hope your weekend was as interesting as my makeup unboxing day. What have you been doing this long weekend?

~Notes~ Super Bowl Sunday Photos

Yeah...yeahh, I know 49er lost the super bowl on Sunday, I still want to post about it. Mostly because we had a wonderful fun weekend from the super bowl party at a friend's party in Irvine.

I got a new hair cut, can you tell? =3
Well, I only cut it shorter in the front, I was aiming for an anime hair style...

Our good friends Jack ( The Spanier on the left), Nick (middle with weird smile),
and Christine (who prepared all the delicious food below!! <3 )

Macaroni and cheese baked in cup cake pan

Buffalo wings and veggie. xD

Avocado salad/dip and chips

The game got so dry in the beginning causing the guys all were playing space ship
games and the girls are the ones watching the game...

Older brother powers!! (after finding out there was sibling competition between
the coaches on the 2 rival teams...they are rooting for the older brother coach from Raven...?)

Overall, we had a lot of fun, though it was a long drive from our place to Irvine, it was great to see old friends again. The weather was not cold at all over the weekend, I wear a Tshirt with a sweat shirt jacket and I was sweating outside under the sun. Conclusion, Beyonce was really hot on the stage and there were so many of her on the stage that every dancer looks like her...(completely irrelevant...xD). I hope you all had a great super bowl sunday as I did! <3

Hans’ homemade brownie recipe

Ingredients

2 cups white sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp of sliced almond (optional)
Protocol
1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C.
2. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla to melted butter.
3. Gently stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
4. Spread batter in a greased 9x13 pan.
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until brownies are just slightly underdone.
6. Before it cools down, place some sliced almond on the brownies. (optional)
7. Rest brownies for 5 minutes.
8. Cut brownies (or use dessert pan like I did, no cutting required)
9. Eat brownies.

It tastes great with coffee or tea, easy and tasty! I highly recommend this for an afternoon dessert! I have been so busy lately, but I can't help to pass on a good recipe, especially when both Hans and me are craving for something sweet. Speaking of sweet, Valentine's day is coming, do you have any plans?
