~Notes~ Super Bowl Sunday Photos

Yeah...yeahh, I know 49er lost the super bowl on Sunday, I still want to post about it. Mostly because we had a wonderful fun weekend from the super bowl party at a friend's party in Irvine.

I got a new hair cut, can you tell? =3
Well, I only cut it shorter in the front, I was aiming for an anime hair style...

Our good friends Jack ( The Spanier on the left), Nick (middle with weird smile),
and Christine (who prepared all the delicious food below!! <3 )

Macaroni and cheese baked in cup cake pan

Buffalo wings and veggie. xD

Avocado salad/dip and chips

The game got so dry in the beginning causing the guys all were playing space ship
games and the girls are the ones watching the game...

Older brother powers!! (after finding out there was sibling competition between
the coaches on the 2 rival teams...they are rooting for the older brother coach from Raven...?)

Overall, we had a lot of fun, though it was a long drive from our place to Irvine, it was great to see old friends again. The weather was not cold at all over the weekend, I wear a Tshirt with a sweat shirt jacket and I was sweating outside under the sun. Conclusion, Beyonce was really hot on the stage and there were so many of her on the stage that every dancer looks like her...(completely irrelevant...xD). I hope you all had a great super bowl sunday as I did! <3

~Recipe~ Hans's Homemade Brownie!

Hans’ homemade brownie recipe

Ingredients
1 cup melted butter
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp of sliced almond (optional)
Protocol
1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C.
2. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla to melted butter.
3. Gently stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
4. Spread batter in a greased 9x13 pan.
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until brownies are just slightly underdone.
6. Before it cools down, place some sliced almond on the brownies. (optional)
7. Rest brownies for 5 minutes.
8. Cut brownies (or use dessert pan like I did, no cutting required)
9. Eat brownies.

It tastes great with coffee or tea, easy and tasty! I highly recommend this for an afternoon dessert! I have been so busy lately, but I can't help to pass on a good recipe, especially when both Hans and me are craving for something sweet. Speaking of sweet, Valentine's day is coming, do you have any plans?

~Beauty~ November Glam Bag

While I was enjoying my thanksgiving holidays, I had received my November glam bag, but I didn't have the time to try it out when I was in the mountain. Right, I don't normally wear make up in front my of family unless it's special occasion. They love me no matter what and I'm pretty as I am. (background: jesus, she does feel good about herself...) <<Yes, when I'm in a good mood, I feel I'm awesome. =P (Who doesn't?)

November Glam Bag

So let's see, my November glam bag includes a brown eye pencil, eyebrow gel, lip gloss, eye shadow, and a nail polish sparkle. My favorite? The eye shadow and the eye liner pencil. The shadow is dark enough (dark brown-ish) that you can use it as both the eye liner or eye shadow for a good smokey eye look. The eye liner pencil is just versatile and brown makes it easy for a daily look since it's not too bold in comparison with black eye shadow. The lip gloss is ok, but dark poison look lip is just really not my style, I'm thinking about giving it out to my sister instead, who has a more sexy/mature look. (Yes, I looks like a kid so trying to be sexy seem a little odd to me. )

The card that comes with the November Glam Bag, I really like the design, whoever designed this.

The products...

Like I said, my favorite of this month is the eye shadow and the pencil eyeliner.
My least fav is the so-called eyebrow defining gel.
The reason is simple, I have no use of it.
Unless you use eye shadow to fill in your eye brow, then you might need it,
but as far as my eye  brows go,
I usually just use a brow pencil since it's so much faster than using eye shadow/powder.

To be honest, I have the glam bag subscription renewed for 2013 because I think they actually give out good things that worth the try. It's fun because it's like surprises, also because I'm too busy to go buy anything anyway so I renewed it. We'll see what they bring in 2013! Hopefully more good stuff!

~Notes~ Announcement

2012 Nov Glam Bag that I havent got time to play with. Q_Q

After a whole chaotic year of 2012, I think I need to make a choice to really do it well, or just dont effin do it. I find it a lot easier to just update small amount of post instead of 1 complete big post. So I'm switching to Tumblr for major blog posts (once a week or more), and maybe update it here on blogger when I have time or a lot more pictures to post (maybe say once every 2 months or so). Thank you everyone for being my audience!

Love you all, and see you more at http://gbehrens.tumblr.com/ in the future! <3<3

Thanksgiving, my week in photos

Clearly, I was away for a while. Like I said, I was on Big bear mountain this year for the whole week of Thanksgiving. After that, it was just so much work to catch up and prepare to finish everything before Christmas! Here is my week in photos on Big bear:

On the way to Big bear

...where you can see mini bear happy to see you.

It was cold, but these boots were perfect since there was no snow.

Say hi to Captain Jack/Morgan!

Even the Vons in Big bear is so pretty!

Hans was so cold that he covered him self with blanket/slanket while reading books.

Our Thanksgiving dinner, SO Delicious!

We had a little helper in our kitchen, her name is Kathy!

Some of us (mostly girls) also went to the big bear town to watch movie and shop around.

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you have a lot of fun and good food? I hope your thanksgiving was as good as mine! =D
